　E/PAINTABLE INSULATION is a protective RTV silicone coating for high voltage equipment. Applied to

　metal grounded structures, to both ends of electrical insulators, bushings and potheads it will provide sufficient

　insulation strength to guard against animal caused flashovers. The E/PAINTABLE INSULATION

　withstands 10kV at 30 mils and is not affected by UV light, temperatures, precipitation, or most corrosive chemicals.

　It is easily applied by brush, roller or spray. It can also be used to waterproof taped splices and adds weather

　resistance to insulting structures made with fiber-reinforced plastics.

　E/ANIMAL CONTROL STRIPS are used to discourage birds and animals from climbing on fences, walls,

　tress bus cable and poles. They are effectively used to repel birds ranging in size from sparrows to vultures.

　E/ANIMAL CONTROL STRIP flexibility allows it to be installed on most surfaces: flat, contoured horizontal or

　vertical. It is easily installed and will not discolor other materials.

　E/BARRIER is an insulating platform and barrier used to prevent climbing animals form contacting energized

　conductors. It is made of Polycarbonate plastic; the same material that bulletproof glass is made of, and is assembled

　around the insulator with nylon 6/6 nuts and bolts. E/BARRIER is less expensive than the similar Raychem product,

　will reduce labor hours, and MidSun will warrantee our product for 1 year against voltage puncture.

　E/BUS SUPPORT COVER is a 25kV bus support cover for substation applications. It is designed to fit aluminum

　and copper bus up to 4 inches and angle bus up to 4 1/4 inches. Made from 65 duro-meter high temperature

　vulcanized rubber it will protect your mid span support insulators from inadvertent animal outages.

　E/BUSHING COVER comes in two sizes and in two types. A combination of the size and type will fit every bushing

　class from distribution pole top transformers, and re-closers to 2000 amp substation breakers, reclosers and reactors.

　Made from an extremely tear resistant, hard but pliable silicone they can be installed before or after an electrical

　E/CAPACITOR COVER  is a 3 port cover designed to fit small, medium and large capacitor cans with one or two

　bushings. Developed to prevent bird and animal outages on outdoor open architecture capacitor banks,

　it is made from 65 duro-meter flame arc resistant silicone rubber like all other E/Product covers.

　E/CROSSARM BARRIER is an adjustable raptor barrier designed to block birds from roosting and making contact

　with phase to phase and phase to ground conductors on pole top and transmission crossarms.

　E/CUT-OUT COVER is a molded high temperature vulcanized silicone cover for preventing animal contact outages

　on distribution and substation cut-out switches.

　E/FUSING TAPE is a High Temperature 2/3 overlap tape which is self fusing, naturally UV proof and is made

　from a silicone rubber. The tape is rectangular in cross section and when wrapped with a 2/3 overlap, a uniform,

　inseparable, cohesive thickness can be achieved. It has a dielectric strength of 600 to 800 volts per mil and

　is available in thickness ranging from 20 mils up to 60 mils and widths of 1 inch, 2 1/2 inches or 4 inches.

　E/GETAWAY BARRIER prevents climbing animals, such as squirrels, access through overhead power lines into

　E/GROUND STUD COVER  is an energized or de-energized applied cover to insulate and protect ground studs.

　Four versions are currently available; a version to fit Burndy model GAD642N ground studs, Dossert ground studs

　and two generic versions for straight and 450 Angle Cast ground studs. Like our other E/Product Covers,

　it is made from a high temperature flame arc resistant silicone rubber for years of service life.

　E/INSULATION is a line insulation hose to electrically insulate both round and angle substation and distribution cable.

　E/INSULATION can be purchased with a customer specified internal diameter size from 1/ inch to 4 1/4 inch in 1/4

　increments. E/ANGLE BUS cover is available for 2 1/4, 3 1/4 and 4 1/4 inch Angle Bus. Both are made from

　nonflammable 65 duro-meter high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber for 20+ years of life. It is also priced less

　expensive than flammable EPDM wraps currently sold. You may want to consider upgrading your existing distribution

　E/NEMA PADS  is a highly filled two piece extrusion used with E/FUSING TAPE to wrap two bolt and four bolt

　Nema Pads. Their use allows a water egress from an E/FUSING TAPE wrap connector providing a solution to potential

　ice breakage in cold climates and alleviating a utilities concern with water build up under an insulated connector.

　E/ROPEL is a liquid boundary marker which will discourage cats, raccoons and squirrels by the use of lion pheromones.

　The process is simple, just pour E/ROPEL around your substation and this will deter all animals that pick up the lion's

　scent. E/ROPEL comes in a red tint to mark the boundary and prevent pouring over the same areas.

　E/SQUIRREL TAPEis a 20 kV insulating single wrap tape used for electrical insulation brush contact on transmission,

　substation and distribution utility equipment. It is used for Pole Top and Substation Transformers, Distribution Cut outs

　and Substation Disconnects, adding insulation to cross-arms, cover Insulators, Cables, Bushings and many more

　applications. E/SQUIRREL TAPE can be cut by common household scissors or razor knives allowing ease of application

　E/STIRRUP COVERS are UV stable, high dielectric covers designed to fit over installed hot line clamps applied on

　stirrups mounted on any size distribution cable. E/Stirrup Covers come in clear, black or 1/2 clear and 1/2 black.

　They allow ease of application using standard gloving techniques. Held together by structurally bonding peel and

　stick tape or heavy duty tie wraps. Far less expensive than EPDM covers that shrink to fit mats and tape,

　E/Stirrup Cover will only enhance a utility's reliability program and satisfy any Public Utility Control Board.
